FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The shortest path to a decision - straight answers.

How many washing cycles does a tag withstand?

Depending on the model, our RFID tags withstand over 250 industrial washing cycles. In practice this means they last for the entire service life of most industrial textiles.

What are the benefits of using RFID in textiles?

RFID technology automatically identifies and tracks garments and textiles without scanning each item by hand. This enables faster counting, reduced losses, better control of textile circulation and significant labour time savings.

What is the difference between UHF and HF tags?

UHF tags support bulk reading from several metres away - an entire trolley of textiles can be scanned at once, which is why UHF is the standard in large industrial laundries. HF tags have a short read range (tens of centimetres) and single-item reading, making them suitable for station-level item identification.

Will a tag survive industrial ironing?

Yes. Laundry tags are designed for the full laundry process, including washing, drying, ironing, sterilisation and other processes used in industrial laundries.

Will the tags work with my existing system?

Yes - the tags operate in open RFID standards (UHF: EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO 18000-63) used by most RFID hardware and software vendors. Before purchase we help verify compatibility with your existing solution.

Can I get samples for testing?

Yes. We offer test samples so you can verify tag performance in real working conditions before making a purchase decision. Contact us - we will help select the right model and prepare samples matched to your application.

What certifications do the products have?

Depending on the model, available certifications include OEKO-TEX®, REACH, RoHS, MRI Conditional and independent quality test reports.

What are the delivery times?

In-stock products are dispatched from Poland within 1–2 business days of order confirmation. For larger orders or personalisation, lead times are agreed individually.

Can a tag be sewn into existing textiles?

Yes. Depending on the model, a tag can be sewn in or heat-sealed onto the textile. This makes it possible to mark both new and already-used products.

Is the tag visible during use?

No. RFID tags are small and usually placed in seams, hems or other hidden spots, so they do not affect garment comfort.

Does RFID work without line of sight?

Yes. Unlike barcodes, an RFID tag does not need to be visible to the reader. Reading happens automatically, even when the tag is inside a garment or container.

From what distance can an RFID tag be read?

TagTrack 7015 uses UHF technology and can be read from up to 7 metres away. This enables fast identification of individual garments or entire batches of textiles without scanning each item by hand.

Can I order tags with my own logo or numbering?

Yes. Selected models can be personalised with printed logos, numbering, identification codes or EPC encoding.

Does RFID help reduce textile losses?

Yes. RFID enables fast textile location, automatic stocktaking and garment flow control, which reduces losses and cuts costs.

What does an RFID implementation cost?

The cost depends on the number of textiles, tag type, selected RFID hardware and the scope of integration. We prepare an individual quote tailored to your needs.

Do you help with RFID implementation?

Yes. We support customers at every stage of the project - from selecting tags and hardware, through testing and configuration, to launching the system in daily operation.
